Technospark, a National Level Students’ Technical Symposium is an annual event at KKC, puttur. Having started in the year 2011, Technospark is providing a platform to the technocrats to learn, exchange and exhibit their technical & creative skills with a wide spectrum of co-students, from other Professional colleges.

Technospark @ KKC, Puttur goes beyond being a simple science & Technology competition as it provides multi-dimensional exposure to the students; thus encouraging them to recognize their innate talents and hone their creativity.

It provides an ample opportunity to get acquainted with the rapidly changing technological trends and encourages inquisitiveness and aptitude to research in the talented young students. It is a fine concoction that incorporates a plethora of activities ranging from paper presentation, quizzes, Technical project exhibition and, a wide array of musical and dance events, encompassing the technical and cultural fields.

Technospark @ KKCT made a humble beginning in the year 2K11 the event attracted 120 participants. The popularity grew in the next year, i.e., in Technospark – 2K12 the participants number increased to 175, which confirmed the enthusiasm of the young engineers to learn the changing trends in the field of Technology and Engineering. Technospark – 2K13 attracted about 300 young engineers showcasing their talent in various events.

Technical Events

With an aim to bridge the Industry-Academia gap, Free Summer Training is one of the initiatives taken by KKC in order to make the students industry ready professionals.

GUIDELINES:

  1. Team Size: maximum of two (2) authors per paper.
  2. Paper should be in IEEE Format.
  3. Full paper (in MS. Word format) must be sent to the email address as specified. Papers have to be sent through email only.
  4. First page should contain the name of the author(s) and address.
  5. Authors should submit the hard copy at the time of registration.
  6. Registration fee: Rs. 150/- per participant.
  7. Registration forms along with Bonafide Certificate should be submitted at the time of Registration.
  8. Top two papers will be awarded prizes with merit Certificates.
  9. Participation Certificates will be given for the authors of the papers selected for presentation.

GUIDELINES

  1. Events:Dance (Solo)
  2. Events will be conducted in two stages:
    (i) Preliminary stage
    (ii) Final stage
  3. Preliminary Stage Duration: (i) Singing (Solo) : maximum of 3 minutes (ii) Dance (Solo) : maximum of 3 minutes
  4. Top four (4) teams will quality for final stage.
  5. Dance performers are informed to bring their own properties, dress, make-up kit etc., with respect to their performances.
  6. No Classical performances are accepted.
  7. A performer allowed to perform only once in any of the events.
  8. At any case no second chance will be provided.
  9. Arguments lead to disqualification of candidature.
  10. Participants must bring & submit their song (digital copy) in CDs only.
  11. Merit certificate will be given to the top two performers.
  12. Participation Certificates will be given to the participants of the final stage.
  13. Registration fee: Rs.50/- per participant per event.

NOTE:
1. Participants must bring a Bonafied Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution/Head of the department with student ID card.
2. Judges decision is final.

Technospark- 2k14, 4th National Level Students’ Technical Symposium

Technospark- 2k14, 4th National Level Students’ Technical Symposium was held on 15th March, 2014 at KKC Institute of Technology and Engineering. Technospark 2k14 had a galaxy of Intellectuals from both industry and academia. The Inaugural function was graced by Sri. G.L. Ganga Prasad, Associate Director, C-DAC,  A scientific  Society of Ministry  of Commn &  IT, Government of India, Bangalore, as Chief Guest. The chief guest released ad book “A primer on basic Electronic and Electrical Circuits” on the occasion. & Dr.N.Sudhakar Reddy, Principal SV Engineering College, Tirupathi as Guest of Honor. The Valedictory was graced by Sri.K.Rajasekharam, Dy.Director, Software Technology Parks of India, Tirupathi as Chief Guest and Dr.P.Kumar Babu, Principal, Sri Sidhartha Institute of Technology as Guest of Honor. The Chief guest released the souvenir on Technospark 2k14 and gave away the prizes to the winners of the various competitions conducted as part of the symposium.  The event was co partnered by: M/s. Lead Institution-Tirupati, M/s. Manjula Medicals – Puttur, M/s. Take off, B.Tech & M.Tech projects – Tirupati M/s. Adroit Infogen –Tirupati, RED FM 93.5. Sri.E.Mukunda, Assoc.Professor and R&D Coordinator was the convener of the event.

KKC group of Institutions organized TECHNOSPARK – 2K13, a one day National Level Student Technical Symposium on 16th February, 2013 at its KKC Institute of Technology and Engineering Campus.

Technospark, an annual event at KKC was started in the year 2011 to provide platform to the students to exhibit their creative skills, because at KKC the holistic development of the student is given top priority

In the first year Technospark – 2K11, the event attracted 120 participants. The popularity grew in the next year ie., in Technospark – 2K12 the participants number increased to 175, which confirmed the enthusiasm of the young engineers to learn the changing trends in the field of Technology and Engineering.

Technospark 2K13 attracted about 300 young engineers showcasing their talent in various events like Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Technical Quiz and Mini Theatre.

Research papers by the students for “Paper Presentation” under Technospark – 2K13 were invited from various other Engineering Colleges. About 200 papers in various streams of ECE, CSE and CIVIL on latest Technological Trends were received for the competition under the event. 60 papers were shortlisted for the presentation during the symposium. The judge’s panel for the events included some of the distinguished personalities like Dr.Chenna Reddy, Associate Professor, JNTU, Pulivendula and Mr.Chandramohan Reddy, Asst.Professor, JNTU Pulivendula. The best 3 papers in each branch of Engineering were awarded suitably

Dr.G.Prabhakar Rao, Director, Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science was the chief guest for the inaugural function. Dr.Prabhakar Rao in his inaugural speech underlined the importance of such events and advised the young engineers to make use of such opportunities to share their knowledge.

Dr.Naveen Kilari, Principal Technical Officer, C-DAC, Hyderabad, who was the guest of honour for the event, expressed such events provide excellent opportunities to the budding engineers to update their present knowledge and equip themselves with current trends and prepare themselves to face the challenges in the future. Dr.Naveen advised young engineers to face challenges by providing qualitative engineering solutions.

The Valedictory function was graced by Dr.Nadhamuni Reddy, Principal SVPCET, Puttur, as chief guest. About 200 young engineers showcased their talent during the event.

Sri.Kuppaiah Cheety, Chairman KKC group of Institutions, Sri. K.Narasimha Rao, Vice chairman, Sri A.Armugam, Financial Advisor, Dr.Lokanandha Reddy Irala, Director, KKC group of Institutions, conveyed their best wishes on the occasion and promised that more such events will be organized in KKC in future.
